fking s.

Just had a brief exchange of unpleasantness involving my car being responsable for environmental armageddon, from a pair of stereotypical eco tts/lentil munchers.
I only stopped on the way home from the Dr's to get a bacon roll.

By all accounts, I am responsible for rising sea levels, polar bears having their natural habitat destroyed, the increase in ozone depletion and 'the catastrophic rise in carbon dioxide'.

Granted, the car is thirsty-93 Range rover 3.9.

i countered with the following. An old car must be kinder to the environment, as it continues to be used- less energy involved than changing for a new one every few years. The low mileage i do makes emmissions insignificant (i shall also add that the only concerns i have for CO2 is to ensure there is plenty in my tonic water to go with the gin)
I also conceeded that when at the coast with Jnr, I have, on occasion, thrown stones off the beach into the sea, which must raise the water level a tiny amount.

Didnt go down too well.

You are killing the planet. You are killing polar bears.

fk off.

Murderer....f....f....fking murderer.

oh do fk off- im on the way home from the dr's and i have only stopped to get a bacon roll.

Meat is murder.

Oh god.

You are wearing leather shoes, you fking idiotic tt. fk off.

i then left, and shuffled off to get some brekkie.

I returned less than 2 minutes later, to see swampy and what i assume under the thick crust of grime, dreadlocks, and facial 'jewelery' was a 'woman' (possibly third generation to be walking on its hind legs) attempting to carve a swastika on the side of the car. Duly panicking, they run off, but not before the 'lady' of the pair had spat all over my doorhandle.

So, thanks.

Thanks very much indeed.

If you have elcetricity in your ditch, and you happen to read this, from now on i shall be driving through stony in 2nd gear, in an attempt to burn more fuel. I also hope that on the next occasion that we are fortunate enough to meet, i have lost my limp, and have a little more skin on my knuckles.

Oh, and have a bath, I know you want to be close to nature, but you dont need to smell like a dead bit of it. s.

I would normally say I'm totally shocked at behaviour like this but I have to keep reminding myself that we are in the UK afterall.

There will be more and more of this 'breed' of 'person' to arise if the gubberments keep spouting their st on how the planet is about to suddenly dissintergrate into start dust if the sea levels rise by another few mm.
There are many small minded people out there who will indeed believe anything that other people of perceeved power throw at them. Man-made global warming and the threat of millions will die being one, another longer lasting one being that the earth was created in 7 days no less etc. etc.

What is truly beautiful about this particular form of plankton and their actions is they have clearly not given any thought to the environmental impact of respraying a car.

Morons.

Just as an aside... there's a World Vegetarian Day on 1st October. Is there any... "balance"? Although I don't smoke, drink very moderately, eat a largely vegetarian diet (90% of my food is not meat or dairy... laziness more than anything), have a carbon footprint of about 1 tonne (again due to laziness), I'm sick and tired of people forcing their opinions on me by mouth or law. We need redress...

ETA: doesn't appear to be a World Meat Day. No, I don't mean Steak And Blow Job Day.

Very sad but when we have winky praising these people for protesting what can we expect. It is criminal damage but these dimwits think it is their right to do this for the greater good. Look on the brightside, if sea levels rise these people will not survive because they are incapable of looking after themselves without spoon fed money and causes. You on the other hand will be able to fashion a boat out of your range rover and sail off it to the sunset.

Given that i do a maximum of 15 miles a week at the moment, what the fk should i be doing?

Buy a prius- a new car, made in 3 different countries, then shipped half way around the planet. The fuel used to ship it to the uk would last me the rest of my life. Trade in the old ranger against the new car, so someone else buys it, thus creating more pollution as there would be two cars on the road.

Had i have been sharper, i would have informed them that i need the car, as i have to be able to get across fields..........................

Slowly but surely, each environmental idea is being seen to be stupid. Green cars (production of new car vs running old car into ground), green lightbulbs (can't be recycled in many places; need to drive to deposit them)... what else?

Best day ever.

Sympathies to Emsman, he's not having a lot of luck is he?

How many bad chemicals will be released into the air when he has it resprayed??? A hell of a lot more damaging than the CO2 from driving his 15 miles a week...

The annoyance is that following the accident, im somewhat slower than i used to be due to a limp, and not really up for having a good old fashioned punch-up.

Where do these tossers get off though? Where does the ill founded info come from?
Who gives them the right to call the shots.

Seriously, it pisses me right off. I have informed the police, who were, to be blunt, less than interested- not a suprise, its hardly the crime of the century.

Had i have kicked the st out out of swampy, i would be in a world of trouble]]
