My (not so) enterprising brother is currently at Uni doing some sort of scientifical course to do with brains and AI. But he is finding money very tight, so he's taken to offering to wash people's cars. Not really a problem until now, when he informs me he's booked to do a Rolls Royce next weekend.

His investment in equipment? £3 for a bucket a sponge.

Not sure I like the sound of this tbh, surely if he's going to do it properly he'd need at least half-decent equipment & Public Liability Insurance?

Fair play to the lad I say. I hope he does well in life. Obviously has more brains than the aforementioned Rolls Royce driver.

For god sake don't post a link to this topic on DetailingWorld. I'm pretty sure some of their heads may actually melt.

He said he'd only got a bucket and sponge, I doubt he's going to Turtle Wax it...

tell him to invest a tenner in a second bucket and a micro fibre wash mitt.

Then introduce him to the two bucket method, and then run away and deny all knowledge of knowing him until you are certain the paint is still ok on the rolls

Be on the lookout for the Poland Car washing mafia. They don't like it if you take away their lively hood.
