After listening to the confessions on the Simon Mayo show ( Radio 2 ) I was reminded of the post where a chap had a spare set of keys and kept winding the backrest down on his mates car.
Done the usual search, but can't find it.....

The ex BiL , was a shoe repairer, key cutter. At one time he "read" the Ford Tibbe key for his mate's car & made a copy.
Then proceeded to move the car, around carparks, seating position etc!

Guy on B3ta pranked his work colleague. The other chap had a house in the Caribbean or somewhere and had a photo of it saved as his Desktop. B3ta chap edited the photo over a period of months, deleting windows, adding trees, changing colours etc..always thought that was inspired..

Don't think it was that.
Further info:-
His friend had a new XR2, was going on holiday and didn't want to park it at the airport. Got a spare key cut and wound the seat back down at lunch times. Owner went crackers at the dealers demanding a new seat.

Hahaha I love that Caribbean one!

A colleague from work told me a similar story, mate plundered his M3's spare key (it was about 6 months old) and parked it by a very busy flyover with large FOR SALE - £12000 CONTACT RICH AT XXXXXX signs all over it, right at lunchtime when everybody round here seems to be on the road. Apparently he had about 50 calls by the end of lunchtime.

A year or two ago when I was home for Christmas I used to reverse the direction of one of my parents' cars - as in, car in the same place on the driveway but just facing backwards. Mum used to fall for it every time when she couldn't remember reversing in but must have done.

Many many years ago a mate of mine's dad had the exact same car as my dad - right down to trim level. Might have told this story before, but when he came over once (as our dads were pals) we swapped the numberplates on their cars with the knowledge of my mate's dad. My old man got very confused when he went to go and start his car and the key wouldn't work - not realising that my mate's car was flashing like a pornstar behind him.

Several years ago i used to live next door to a pub, it wasnt unusual for people to park right across my driveway, anyways my mate was visiting and some lady driver in a fiesta parkes directly across the driveway blocking him in, we thought it would be a hoot to move the car so we both grabbed a rear wheel arch lifted and dragged the car back about 10 meters only the steering lock was on and it ended up in the middle of the road, so we just left it there then proceeded on foot back to the livingroom for a freash brew and to watch her reaction when she came back out.
She was very bemused :P
