Want to install some parking sensors in my car, and wondered which of the many products out there come recommended? Are audio only ones better than the visual ones with LED's?

I've been told the Cobra Parkmaster are the ones usually installed aftermarket by main dealers - is this correct?

Cheers!

I'm trying to decide this as well at the moment as I've just bought a Navara which seems to have the back in a different time zone to the front. I can get it centered in a parking space no problems, but I'm buggered if I can work out how close I am to things. With a Snugtop on, I can literally only use the mirrors, and have to guess where the tow ball is. Some parking sensors would be bloody useful but I don't know what to get for it... Any suggestions?

My recently purchased ST220 has been retro fitted with the Cobra Parkmaster and i am having a great deal of trouble setting up correctly it has been well fitted and has had the sensors colour coded to match the car but was disconnected, so i purchased a new unit, carried out the set up procedure to the letter but i am still unable to get it to operate correctly after some research i have found it is vital that the sensors are not fitted too low in the bumper as it will always pick up the road surface when reversing and give false readings, one other thing the instructions that come with the kit leave a lot to be desired! Bill.

In the raders car section theres a mental bloke filling a mondeo with speakers. He has a rear view camera kit you might find useful? I think the topic is 'my mundane' and theres a link to the product on page 2 or 3.

Hope the OP has a similar vehicle to you. Don't see it going well for them if it turns out they have a hatch / Saloon / 4x4..........
