Don't think I will make it, they are leaving the services in 40 mins, and I am in Essex.

So everyone else better get a wiggle on.

It's more the fact that we should of picked up on this sooner. If i had known about this earlier I would of travelled up in my Discovery covered in stickers supporting the protest.

It would of been a great way to show parliament that the country is on the verge of all out protests if nothing is done.

Anyone know what time they will get to the city centre and what time it will all finish?

I'm in the city centre and need to get out at some point today! smile

Not that I'm complaining, I support them 100% if it delays me then so-be-it.

Not at all, until it becomes more wide spread, nationwide even, then more regular, lets say weekly.

Oh and it's followed up by some fk off riots in Westminister.

Then and ONLY then gubbermint might sit up and listen.

either than or pass some new anti terror laws to make the protest illegal.

nope, wasnt joking at all. I would not be surprised in the slightest if we saw a law making protesting illegal introduced in the next 5-10 years, regardless of the tie colour of the next party.

"Protest organiser 'Maverick' claimed the cost of a litre of unleaded petrol was higher now than it was two years ago despite a barrel of oil costing around half what it did then...

...Two years ago more than 1,500 bikers took part in the first protest in Manchester."

At least we know the protest had an effect.

The people on all car/bike type forums already do meets/hoons if we are happy to do them I don't see why we can do a protest version about fuel tax.

This type of thing they'll tolerate so as to maintain the facade of democracy.

Were it to get serious or prolonged then the kettling, dogs, gas and baton charges would start.

Either way there will be no reduction in the price of fuel resulting from protest action.

Of course he does. He's believes the bullst pedalled by the various news stations!

Note to all the cocks that think it's the Oil companies responsible. Bear in mind that of the £1.20 you pay at the moment. The Oil companies take around 40p. The rest goes to the Gubberment!
