It actually gave me goosebumps. I was cycling the London to Oxford a few years back and an orange Roadster blatted past a group of us, lid-down, pedal buried, exhaust note smashing the air to smithereens.

Any other contenders?

That BRM sounds amazing. I've got a CD called 'The sounds of Goodwood' in which Nick Mason spanks his classics around the circuit and the BRM is the pick of the bunch. Best think Pink Floyd have done in years...

I always said the Zonda was the ultimate sound. But I had forgotten what an early F1 Ferrari V12 sounded like. Holy cow!

The 3pot note on the Aygo is lovely and was described as half a Ferrari in several car magazines /aygofangirl

I did however actually orgasm in the NEC Hall when they were revving a DB9 in there..:drool:
