I was at work today and a customer appeared with a Bentley CGT exactly like this one:

What a load of car for under £40k, stick a private number on it and who knows you've not just dropped over a hundred large.

Fortunately I'm not too keen on the 'imagine' of the Conti GT, it says all the wrong things to me.

For all the 'Cheshire Footballer' image of the CGT it is still a fantastic car.

Near 200mph potential in leather lined luxury.

What's not to like?

I know mate, but I just couldn't. Not when I could get a nice Arnage for similar money.

Good point.

I must say though, the CGT does get a bad rep, much like the Range Rover Sport.

I dislike the image the GTC has gotten itself but it is a loovely car to drive and the cabin is lovely

I'd have an Arnage over a CGT. The Arnage whispers class, the CGT shouts it, but in a different way.

Not a fan of Bentley, particularly CGTs. They are too many wannabes who live in my town who seem to drive them. That Arnage though looks very tasty; I agree with Garlick - a better place for £40k.

I was in a Conti GT for a while and tbh it didn't grab me and I thought the brakes weren't really up to the job

There are nicer arnages than that available for £40k.Having had a cgt and an arnage,it is the arnage I would prefer.
