Im not sure about you, but my wheel "taste" has altered over the years, I used to think that five spokes were the nicest style wheel for most cars, I would have said back in the day the F360 5 spokes were amongst the nicest available and I probably would have gone weak at the knees with those huge 5 spokes fitted to the 458.

Nowadays Im not fussed on five spokes & prefer a more multi spoked wheel, favourites being the Challenge Stradale and the BMW M3 CSL wheels. Question is, whats your favourite wheel ever fitted to a road car at the factory??

From purely a aesthetic standpoint, I think mine would be the old W113 SL steel wheels. The ones with body-coloured hubcaps in the centre.

TVR have done some fine wheels in the past.

Ford seem to have gone downhill, they used to have a lot of different designs all which looked good, from 4 spoke Fiesta to cheese hole Capri and XR2, to the nice multispoke on the Escort RS turbo mk1.

Now they have those garish Y ones .. urgh

used to like E36 M3s and though these were the best factory alloys. Looked better in the more matt finish over the chrome versions:

better than these IMHO:

I quite like rs7's

What did they come on from the factory? as now they're mostly found on mk4 escorts or sierra cosworths

The wheels on the Alfa 159Ti are very nice

Saab 3 spokes always seem to suit the car well

How about these?
Look better with the center caps on mind.

The standard 19" examples on the E46 M3 look great, especially in the sunshine

I'm exactly the same - used to think 5 spokes were awesome but prefer slightly more intricate designs now, specifically the two you mention: 360CS and M3CSL.

It has to be the Ronal Teddies, not sure if they qualify though as I believe they were dealer fit rather than factory fit
