i was digging through some shots from the summer, and I don't think I posted any of these. The meilenwerk is a place where dealers and private owners stora and restore cars. Its very quiet during the week and you can simply wander around without seeing a soul, and without the cars even being roped off in many cases. Private cars are stored in glass cubicles. Here are some photos. The Aston is a bit of a mystery...any ideas?........

I'd never heard of it either until a friend in Germany mentioned it. The concierge at the hotel in Berlin had never heard of it.

Regading the "Aston mystery" is looks almost like, but not quite a DB3S

Quite a few replicas of the DB3S now exist. Some on modified Aston chassis, some built from scratch. There's even a kitcar with a BMW 325i engine in

The Gumpert Apollo pic is brilliant - really shows how close the road car is to the race car!

Had a couple of hours free in Berlin earlier and the chap I was meeting with mentioned there was a place he'd heard about which had an amazing selection of cars.

This place is unbelievable, there were hundreds of cars... here is a very small selection (sorry for the dodgy iPhone pics)
