I was just thinking after watching Lampoons that I'd love just for a laugh to drive round in one of these

Not sure my missus would see the funny side though hehe

I owned a Reliant Robin once, and it had alloy wheels.

I've also owned a couple of FSO Polonez

Haha, ive had all three almost!

1972 AMC Ambassador wagon in lemon chrome (first yank when i was 20 years old)
Not really a TransAm but a Chevy Chevelle ex race car
and a red Fiat 126 as a daily driver when i had a Mustang when i was 21!

Funny thing was, i picked up my new girlfriend in the Fiat and she didn't say a word and we went out for the evening.
Next night i picked her up in my 1970 Mustang and she said "I'm not getting in that, its embarrassing"

This is pretty much the reason I bought my e30, needed a runabout and it seemed like a laugh!

Got one, a BIS. Spent more time in the garage in pieces than she has on the road. But when we last drove her, the passenger in the car in front of us nearly fell out the window trying to take a picture. Not for the shy!

Oh, and I hate her.

I do believe this is the cheapest taxed and ticketed car on PH right now. It's about as close to disposable as a car gets.

There are a couple of those (or similar buggy things) around here. They are becoming the new road-going quad bike.

I might get a buzz out of this, no, just a laugh.
