I would suggest driving it, but that's coming from a man that's going to be driving a 40 year old Land Rover to Le Mans

Meh, I drove a 1958 Plymouth to Le Mans smile

I don't fancy 350 miles back at about 20 mph though.

Were having a three driver relay at weekend to go and get it.

3 Blokes, recovery truck, 700 mile nonstop round trip, and a baby tank.

What could possibly go wrong?

(Anyone living near inverness who could recommend a cheap place to stay if it doesn't go to plan)?

A ticket to a load of laughs with your mates smile

Would love to see the look on the supervisors face when you show up at an off-road course with that

Pictures arent working for me here in the office due to restrictions.

Please could you tell me what it is so I can Google?

Or a link to the ebay ad?

I always thought that tracked vehicles weren't allowed on the main road?

If not, drive it back - if so, drive it cross country smile

you can drive an ex-mod tank (gun deactivated of course) if you want to.

UK is very liberal in what it allows people to drive on the road (for now)

THat is a fantastic piece of impulse ebaying. Please document the journey home, it sounds like it could be fun! (Especially the look on the wifes/neighbours face . . . )
