Mclaren dealer in Knutsford, Cheshire?

Hi guys, i sometimes go for a drive up knutsford macclesfield way and there is a shop on the corner at the roundabout right in the centre of knutsford which has always had balling cars in it. It had rolls phantoms in there for a while and a while ago an F40 and other ferrari's. I think it used to belong to stratstone. However, last weekend i was up there and the whole shop is boarded up except for a small tv screen showing a video of the new mclaren which made me wonder if it is going to be an official dealership. I read in a car mag that there is only going to be one mclaren dealership and it will be in london but wondered if they had decided to make this a dealership also? Anybody know?

Love driving past this garage, shame its on that roundabout mind. Is it going to be exclusively Mclaren, or will it be other marques?
Just McLaren apparently, with the cars going to Bentley Manchester service centre for servicing work (owned by Sytner as is Royce Manchester, who also send their cars there)TomJackUK said:

A couple of points. Firstly, Bentley has NOT disappeared - they have gone to a huge posh new showroom about a mile away (Mobberley Road, Knutsford, WA16 8GT, 01565 632 222)
Secondly, the "garage on the corner" where McLaren are opening was home to the awesome Ron Stratton who sold me many a car over the years so McLaren are going to a good home. Ron had hypnotic powers as anybody who passed by his showroom will know ...
But the new showroom looks awfully dead at the moment - the video display died about a month ago but this is what my man said to me on April Fool's Day
"The showroom is nearly finished and we should be open next month, once our first display MP4-12C arrives. The screen was removed a few days ago as we felt that it had served its purpose in raising awareness. I have made a note to let you know once we are open."
So, watch that space!
