hi all my emissions light is on in my 04 hyundai coupe any ideas any one

need to put it on a scanner.....to see the fault code..... probably Lamda gone...

Take the bulb out. Emissions - what emissions?

EGR valve seems to be a common one and a cheap and easy thin to check if located in easy reach - just google EGR valve and your car model and you should find loads of info on how to check it.

Does an '04 Hyundai have an EGR valve?

I bet there is. Anything Euro3 compliant has an EGR of some sort, and that's basically anything since 2000. Even my old SPI 1.6 8v had an EGR, and it's engine was being phased out in 2000.
