"They All Do That Sir"
Discussion
Having been through a couple of cars in the last few years it seems there are always a few common issues, no matter what the model/make.
Thinking things like the Alfa GTV where the frameless windows always whistle a little, the 306 GTi-6, all of which seem to have cooling fan issues. Or even the Seat Leon Mk1 which leaks from the door seals.... According to the owners clubs all of these are common issues but seemingly not that widely known otherwise.
So what else is there? What are those issues which seem to plague a model but which aren't so well known? (and yes, this is just to make me feel better about the fact that my Leon leaks!)

2.0 litre RenaultSport Clio cold start. Kangarooing off down the road first thing isn't cool!
It's actually even more common than that, a lot of the RenaultSport range, old and new, suffer from the same trait. Though the 197 is by far the worst of the bunch for it! My car does it occasionally but isn't so bad on premium unleaded.Edited by matty_doh on Friday 21st January 21:19
B6 (might even affect B5 and B7, the all look the same) chassis VAG group cars leaking water into the footwells through the scuttle.
K11 (bubble) Nissan Micras have MAF sensor issues
Peugeot TU1 engines leaking oil at the front left of the cylinder head (bad HG design)
VAG 9N chassis cars (polo/fabia/Ibiza) have problems with the lower rear front wishbone bushes wearing out quickly. They also have issues, along with most VAG cars of the rear washer pipes popping off
Ford Mondeo Mk1 and Mk2 like to wear out wishbone bushes due to the fact the cars ride to high.
