Yes fairly sure I saw the signs on gantry yesterday, seem to think it was from 2200 but maybe wrong as it was busy etc.

Yes, between J9 and J10, closed from 10pm tonight until tomorrow morning sometime, probably 6am or something like that. Check on highways.gov.uk for further info.

Thanks guys - came back into town on the M40, nothing on the gantries and googlemaps showing it as clear, so I hope it had been abandoned.

No such luck! However, fairly easy diversion.

Shame they didn't bother to put anything on the gantries on the M40...
