I fully understand that the administrators of the site have a protocol and i apologise if i jumped in too quickly.

But I don't want anyone thinking i'm being rude as I'm unable to respond to a discussion i started as the thread has been moved to a forum that i can't access.

So cheers for any responses which i can read, i just can't clarify or respond to any questions but I appreciate the responses.

cheers

If it got moved to the pie and piston, you should be able to respond after your 2 weeks initial phase.

If you do the correct thing and pay £125? to take it off before selling, the car usually reverts to its original reg number anyway.
£125? yikes are you sure, last time it was £80 for the transfer + £25 for the retention?

Anyway OP you are fked and the only way of getting it is if you buy it from the current owner.

BTW what was the plate?

We seem to be making some headway on this although it could still go either way! Looks like we will probably find out tomorrow. The Garage that took the trade-in are being very helpful, DVLA not irked

TVR1 thanks for the offer, I may contact you for further info depending on which way it goes, cheers smile

DVLA not being helpful? That is nothing new! I hope you manage to sort it.

Come on OP, what was/is the plate?
