Never driven one andreally fancy a steer in one however I'm worried that I'd be too big to fit in comfortably.

I'd want to wring it's neck really rev out the engine and enjoy it's aural and vibatory pleasure.

So is it safe to buy at the bottom end of the Market would want a STD example to be kept STD but would be driven very hard/ petrol head fun it would be the reason I'm buying it not to nanny about on a cruise

UK section will have the answers - there are plenty of people 6'02" tall in S2000's. I have had two. I am 6 feet tall and had loads of room left.

great engine and box, good chassis, but beware or rust on early models! went to see a few with a mate and was surprised at the amount of rust creeping in around the rear arches.
not saying they will all be like that though.
just make sure it dosent smoke, they do like to drink oil.
and at 62" tall you will be fine smile

I'm 6'4" and had an S2000 for about a year. I fitted in fine.

It was great, superb engine and gear box.

Look for the obvious, and if looking at earlier ones, check the plastic screen is ok. I would also check for the clutch being replaced, it's a big job, about £750.

You will think that you are wearing it, that it is all a bit too snug. You will then have a couple of drives where you will truly understand why Honda call it it's gift to itself when first released. You could co on for hours about how they changed this and that and how it was suddenly a different car but in the day to day reality of life so long as you make sure you have a glass screen the rest is baubles imo. The g/fs has well over 100k and isn't used to wafting. So long as the services have been done and everything works your should be fine. It will drink oil and you will need to check every 4 fill ups roughly to make sure you aren't running low.

Once you have got used to one as a daily driver you will find you enjoy putting the car on in the morning and not only will every other car appear like a Tardis inside but the gear shift will feel like stirring custard with a oar. The s2k redefines 'rifle bolt'.

Personally I also love the split personality it has. 2 Seater Civic with no real room for the shopping going about its business without drama one minute. Rev addicted fat ass Caterham with more than just a imitation roof the next.

Only other things I can think of are get a K&N, sounds better than the stereo, and don't bother trying to drive in snow. People will laugh at you. And point. A lot.

I think they're great cars and have always fancied one, but.........

Sat in one at a motor show many moons ago, I'm 6'4", and it just wasn't comfortable, so that was that.

at 6'2" you never know, it might be ok.

Take one for a test drive and find out

And another rofl although I must admit until I saw the later comments I couldn't think what else it could mean...
