Shocking parking and some people just don't give a hoot
Discussion
Rarely have I been so close to smashing someone else's car to bits, but two events recently have really put me close to it.
1/ Driving down a sloped road near my gf's old house (cars parked along one side of the road), some daft bint parks her 04 Golf on the other side, effectively blocking the street. She gets out and starts walking briskly down the road towards Co-op. Now, we're RIGHT in-front of her and the GF's Clio is about 1.5ft too wide to make it through this gap.
So we stand on the horn, she looks back directly at us, then keeps walking. I've genuinely not been so close to either running down the street and stamping her face into the pavement, or damaging her car. I didn't, I opted to rise above it and we reversed back and went a different way.
2/ Only a week or two ago, I get back to the station from London and discover that someone has parked their rep-mobile so close to the 350z that I can't actually open the door more than an inch, let alone get in. This isn't an unusual move, so I take off the handbrake but alas, I'm in a gentle dip that prevents me from pushing the car out. So I, a 6'1 gent have to climb in through the passenger side to get to the drivers seat.
I was perfectly in the lines and the spot Mr.d
head occupied was next to a wall. So he parked sufficiently far away from the wall that his car wasn't touching mine (just!) but he could get in and out in comfort. Again, in my anger I looked around the car for a notepad and a pen to leave a note "Park like this again and I'll smash your window in and move it myself". Finding no note but still wishing harm upon this individual, I opted to drive home where I could bore the GF with my tales of injustice.
Maybe I should keep Vinyl cocks in the car which can be attached to the vehicles of the culprits. That or a lit bottle of petrol.

You're terrifyingly hard! 1) Finding no note but still wishing harm upon this individual, I opted to drive home where I could bore the GF with my tales of injustice.

I came back to my car the other day to find an Audi A5 (which is wide and with long doors) in the space next to it, with a crash barrier on the passenger side of the Audi and the drivers door literally 3" from my car. I have absolutely no idea how the Audi driver can have got out of the car - I checked mine very carefully and there wasn't a mark on it.

I just can't be dealing with the backlash, a harsh yet amusing sign is as far as I'll actually go.

In the the first example that the OP gave, I wouldn't have done any serious damage to her car, but I'm fairly sure that before reversing back and driving off I'd have found something to jam her tyre valves open with, on all four wheels.
No damage, but enough incovenience to her to make her think about it the next time.
I remember laughing at a Cayenne driving down the road on four flat tyres heading towards a tyre shop one morning last year. I did wonder who he'd managed to p

This happened to me last year.
Getting ready to head out shooting on a Saturday morning (usually leave the house around 7.15). About 1/2 hour before I loaded up the truck a woman in a blue MGF drove up the road, turned round and then parked outside my next door neighbour (rented property). The MG was literally abandoned in the middle of the road; nothing could drive up the road, no one could leave from the houses at the higher end of the street. I assumed that the owner of the MGF was simply dropping something off at the house next door - the only explanation, I thought - for leaving the car parked as it was.
I thought nothing of it and carried on getting ready.....
Until I headed outside and the MGF was still parked in the middle of the road, completely blocking it.
Having seen the owner of the car enter the house next door I got into the truck and turned over the engine. The truck is parked pretty much outside both our houses, so I assumed (again) that the owner of the MGF (who may well have got held up at the house, would come and move her car to let me out).
Nothing happened.
I waited for a minute or two
Then pipped my horn
Still nothing happened
I then got out and walked over to the house. I rang the door bell and waited. The girl who lives in the house answered the door. The following conversation then took place (which, as far as I can remember, is pretty much word for word)
Me - Hi
Her - What's the problem?
Me - Err, no problem, I just wanted to ask the person who owns the MG if she could move her car
Her - what car?
Me - The blue MG (I point to the car parked in the middle of the road, directly outside her house)
Her - I dunno who that belongs to..
Me - Err, riiiiight. Only, I saw her get out of the car and come to your house about 1/2 hour ago.
Her - What, this house?
Me - Yes
Her - Well there is no one here...
Me - Look, I am not sure what the issue is here. All I want is for the car to be moved.
Her - :takesdragonfag:
Me - Well?
Her - It might be Mandy's car....
She turns around and shouts into the kitchen.
Her - Mandy is that your car?
Mandy - Yer What!?
Her - The blue one....outside
Mandy - Yeah
Now, this is not the first time I have seen this car at the house. There is no way the owner of the house would not know that the blue MGF belonged to her friend.
Her - :aggressively: what's wrong with it?
Me :slightlyfrustrated: It's....completely.....blocking.....the......road!
Her - f
king ignorant b
d!
Me - I'm sorry....what was that?
silence....
Me - Look, I have tried to be reasonable here. This is what is going to happen. I am going to start my truck, and if that MG is not moved in the next 60 seconds I am going to drive into it and push it out the way because I really don't give a stuff
about insurance at this moment in time. OK?
Her - w
ker!
Needless to say, 'Mandy' waddled out pretty quickly to move her pride and joy.
Me - (after Mandy has driven off) Thankyou!
