Supercar with AP26 on wing? McLaren

I was on the M25 tonight between M40 and Rickmansworth heading clockwise about 6.30pm when I passed a Supercar which i didn't recognise.

LHD with markings just behind the front wheels of AP26.

Is it a McLaren prototype perhaps?

Anyone else spot it?

I think Mclaren use XP( ) as their prototype designation.
