Guys

Having just finished my ultima build, prior to final registration i will be selling it.
Partly to fund a new business venture and partly because well i want to.

So keeping everyone happy my end, i have approx 30 - 40k to play with.
Now coming from an Ultima, i was preapred to turn heads this coming summer, so im in a dilemma what to buy.

The choices so far have been:

Porsche 996 - Turbo - Dated, Power / Performance wise, i expected better.
Bentley GT - Expensive running costs and potentially an older mans car (im 32)
SL600 V12 Bi Turbo - Chipped Approx 600HP

The above are at the top of my list, leaving a little for approx 5k on bespoke wheels, suspension and a wrap for colour change. The SL being my decision at the moment. But none have that wow status associated to them anymore.

Or are they all that dated now, that spending 30/40k on them would be a waste, so get an rs4 or m3 and pocket the rest knowing i need to invest more to get the end result?

I think ive been looking too long and hard now ive become numb to it, so can you forum experts help, im sure you have all had a dilemma like this whether at the same budget, higher or lower.

Thanks - PS Keeping the Ultima isnt an option.

Ford focus. Save 35k and a LOT of money in depreciation.

CL600 my step father (lakelord) has 1 and it is surreal how quick it is and is so comfortable for long distances, will over take most things on the road :P it's a different type of fast his noble is raw and alot quicker but the CL just wafts and you don't feal it change gear or any wind noise as the speedo climbs rapidly toward the 155 limiter wink

He's looking to go upto a Bentley conti GT at some point not because it's a better car purely because he adores the looks and that W12 burble.

p.s take out a warranty

How old are you? By your description I'd guess you were 17. Buy a fast Caterham and a sensible daily... None of this custom wheel and wrap crap...

Great cars and getting Rarer day by day, Epicly quick this has the roush exhaust system and remap and gearbox rebuild/strengthened etc close to 400bhp soon to be over that with a bigger intercooler and possibly a hard pipe kit I think.

The best I could afford, being only 32 premiums should be fairly cheap. Are you talking about old age or a mental issue?

Private is probably the best way to go being honest.

You need to be more specific with your needs. If you are just generally looking to the future then there are a fair few policies that you could take.

Give it some thought!!!
