I fancy a 255 V6 at some point, so also keep an eye on the ads.
As I'm sure you've noticed it says its a Cat registered car.
I would GUESS that yellow was not its original colour, I don't think many/ any liquid yellow Phase 1 cars were produced. (V6Clio.net can confirm this)
Also after-market wheels, painted brakes etc... These points would put me off personally but maybe for the money its ok, and you may not mind.

Correct - only Phase 2's were produced in Liquid Yellow (I'm lucky enough to have one
)
There can be some bargain Cat registered cars, as the body panels are very expensive (rear bumper is £2,000 for example, so light impact can easily cause £6,000 worth of damage) - MK1's very often get written off with just light panel damage....BUT, there are also some snotters out there which have had heavy damage and are therefore are more difficult to repair. I'm guessing as they haven't mentioned it, this would be a CAT C.
Make sure you do your homework and find out exactly what the issue with the car was - if you can get pictures that would be great.
There's a little bit of info here on it, but hardly much....if you post in there I'm sure people will help you out (we are a friendly bunch

Im not bothered about the car being a cat c Had a good look round it drives very well it came with a front bumper & a nice set of 19" centre lock tsw wheels with the hubs & one spare hub,the car was silver in its 1st life,I really love the colour something different very low miles was more important i have registered on the v6 net will have a good look soon, i have just got home,Im liking the wheels that are on the car do i sell the others ? with the hubs how much are they worth ? do i get them referbed and sell the others ? as these are new with tyres..... its all too much after a 430 mile trip today so spare front bumper & wheels to sell makes the car even a better deal i could not bring myself to trackdaying a mint 10k one....
