For example, I know people will be like OMGWTFBBQ at this but, I love the look of the Corsa VXR i think its exactly how a hot hatch should look.

The fact it melts number 4 pistons and various other serious mechanical issues means i'll never own one, but i admire any I see.

I think the 2001-2005 Audi A4 is a good, clean design especially the saloon IMO. Understated and really good-looking, before that goatee grille and bling LED nonsense. But why won't i own one? One word - Handling.

Veyron - Awesome looking car. I will never own one though, because I will never be able to afford one.

71 "Boat tail" Riviera. cloud9

Handles like a boat and needs a tanker to fill it as well and you can't find a decent one that hasn't been blinged or costs a foretune. weeping

I'm with you there Choppers. I really like some Alfa Romero models both past and present. Don't think I could ever buy one though.

I'd agree with the 850. Love the look of them, but too scary to actually pay for.

If we're Veyron-ing it and opening up the thread to a million beautiful but rare/expensive cars:

The Alvis TC 108 Super Coupe with coachwork by Graber. Design-wise, it is my idea of motoring perfection. Its scarcity, age, required expenditure and subsequent care put it well outside my reach though.

Actually, another one from me is the Karmann Ghia. I could go and buy one tomorrow, but I certainly couldn't live with it on a daily basis.

the alvis doesn't count. if you had the cash spare, you'd buy it. we're talking would, not could. stunning car btwm its sad i know the website and dealer you've lifted it from [been for sale aaaages].

+1 on the 8 series. they're on the bargain/rust bucket knife edge which is a precarious route to take.

Great call on the Riviera.

Would in the states though..

For me, the original Audi TT.

I think the early coupe with baseball interior is a fabulous design.

Shame the driving experience is nowhere near.

Jowett Javelin for me......plz....

The flat four 1486 cc water-cooled and had an aluminium block and wet cylinder liners. Two Zenith carburettors were fitted and PA and PB versions had hydraulic tappets. The radiator was behind the engine. A four-speed gearbox with column change
Brilliant engineering....
