Spotted: Customer Aston One-77 In Monaco

New Aston hypercar gets snapped in its natural habitat

The first of the 77 Aston Martin One-77s are being delivered to the cars lucky (and deeply wealthy) customers.

The car, finished in menacing solid black, was spotted in that most appropriate of places for one of the most exclusive Astons ever - parked outside the Hotel de Paris in central Monte Carlo.

And while the tight confines of Monte Carlo might seem a bit constricting for a car with a 7.3-litre V12 with 750hp and 553lb ft of torque, we're fairly certain the lucky owner will be able to find no shortage of place to stretch the £1.1m Aston's legs.

It's also certainly a more glamorous location than the last place we spotted a One-77 on the road - on the Warwickshire stretch of the M40...

The car itself looks purposeful, but that doesn't mean it looks good. In my opinion of course!

Not wishing to depress any prospective owners but the value of this car probably fell by £250k the minute it was driven out the showroom door.

Give it a few years and you'll probably pick one up in Pistonheads classified for under £100k

I will be the one who picks it then. But certainly not a black one. Blue or green with tan interior would be much nicer, IMO.

I'm considering a visit to the docs as I don't find this Aston visually appealing.

I have no idea why, but I feel it's a bit OTT.

Either that or the exclusivity of this car will mean that you will be seeing them in the classified's in 10 years time closer to the £2m mark rather than the £100k mark.

However i do hope it does drop to £100k in good time because i would willingly re-mortgage the house without telling the mrs' and take the back lash knowing that this would be parked on the drive / newly built garage built with the re-mortgage money to house the beauty.

Are you nuts? With 77 made, assuming no special editions these things will be like gold-dust from the start. Would be surprised if you are ever to pick these up much below rrp (all IMHO of course)

Thought it looked ugly as anything in light colours, but looks much better in black. Still not that pretty though.

You're not alone. I genuinely feel at a loss as to what the fuss is about.

There's no doubt it has presence, but there's something missing for me.
