I have a Golf which when you hold down the unlock button, the windows go down.

Had a friend over with their kids this morning, they've had my keys and obviously pressed all the buttons.

Neighbour came over (luckily) and said your windows are down and its raining.

Went out, the window armrest/controls on either side are wet and the very outer edge of the seat. Could only have been open for a few mins judging by how wet they are.

I have a demist pad to soak up the moisture in the air, but whats the best and quickest way to dry out the seats and doorcards without leaving it with that wet smell?

Open all the windows by an inch or so, run the engine, turn on the heater to full.
