2008 Fiat Bravo MP3 Player compatability

Hopefully, a very simple one for you - What MP3 Players will work with a 2008 Fiat Bravo?
It is my F-I-L's car, and my OH wants to get an MP3 player for his birthday, as he misses the CD autochanger fitted in his previous Stilo.
All I know is that it has a USB plug on the dash. Does this mean that any MP3 player will work, or does it need one from a particular maker (e.g. Creative, or Apple?)
