Audi wont start facing uphill ????

Hello to anyone who can help .,, becausr my local garage cant
. ok i drive a 02 plate audi a4 quattro sports 1.9 tdi ,
started giving my problems a few months ago with not starting some mornings ,really intermitant , any way had it a full service , acopule of weeks later same again , back to garage tried a new fuel filter , couple of weeks later same AGAIN . finaly realised it was only the days i parked facing up hill ... took it to garage checked out the glow plugs and relays , still doing it every time i leave it overnight parked up hill .. WTF can it be ??

Had this with a diesel BMW. You have a fuel leak albeit a small one. Basically all the fuel is running back into the tank where it should be held in the lines by vacuum.
fuel pump still primes the lines though, assuming it's still immersed, so i'd assume all it'd take is a few extra seconds at most unless the pump is on it's way out or the regulator's not opening. i assume this new fangled common rail stuff uses a reg on the end of the rail?Fuel draining back to tank,
cheap easy fix=fit a one way valve in fuel line from ebay £5-7
or try and find where the air is getting in
spill return pipes/any joint in fuel lines,
lift pump can be completely out of service on a L/Rover TDI and it still run
C class merc I had I fitted the one way valve as above the Merc fix was a one way valve costing £100
a friends Saab 2.2 Diesel was the spill return pipes.
