Have you ever looked in any of the above.....you call those seats.
Yes, and they all have enough back seat to significantly compromise the car, if you don't need them. For example why get a CL when you can get an SL for the same money? It'll drive better, be faster, and give you the option of opening the roof. Still, having said that I'd probably still go for a 911 of some kind if I was after a GT in that price range.

Our football manager has a 645i and is brilliant to be in on a motorway cruise. Very comfortable seats up front and the aback seats are Ok if you are under 6ft tall otherwise you have to sit at an angle. The boot space is impress, can take 2 sets of gold clubs or a couple of suitcases.
It's also no slowch either when you put your foot down. Reaches a ton with ease. 0-60 is pretty impressive too at around 6secs. Im not sure on the servicing costs but mpg on the motorway is around 30.

I ran a 645ci for 18 months. Loved it. It's a very brisk car and with all the modern toys fitted then has enough to keep most happy and the engine is one of BMW's best. It's a fantastically tractable powerplant with such a broad range that makes it useful for most scenarios. If I had my time again though...convertible would be the way forward. The rear butresses and that vertical glass elevation - in my eyes - makes it a design classic. Roomy up front, and whilst pinched in the back, can accomodate proportianate adults for short stretches. It polarises on looks, be of no doubt. Of my ex-squeezes, half LOVED it, half LOATHED it.
I also had a 996 Carrera 4S on short loan - basically to see if I'd chop in the 6. For me it didn't work. The 993 is the beauty of the range, and everytime a 997 would pass me by, I'd feel shortchanged. Compared to the more 'luxurious' cruisers in the comparison, then you'll sense that the cabin isn't as nice a place to be (IMO). However Porsches are Porsches and their on road ability is incomparable. For trundling round town it was great, but a long motorway stretch it didn't get my vote. I missed all my gadgets, but relished the extra feel. It's not a practical as the others, and the rear bench is good for legless Vietnam Vet.
I'm currently running a CL55AMG. Compared to the 6 it's more rabid in it's power delivery. Of course it's got the extra horses, but the 6 has more liberal use of lightweight materials etc especially along the flanks and doors. It certainly has more roadside presence and isn't a small car, but ABC does a magnificent job of making a 2 ton car seem nimble. I can go to Currys, buy a big LCD telly, put the box flat in the boot, shove my neices in the back (10 yo twins), do a couple of hundred miles in one stretch at a good pace, with next to nil wind noise, and jump out feeling like I've just popped out of a birthday cake. It's a luxury coupe with a handbuilt animal of an engine.
For the bi-turbo, take the above, just substitute rabid power delivery for a less aurally satisfying sound but more teleporting type of transit. It's incredible in what it does.
A DB7 doesn't cut it, compared. The rear is heavily compromised, but it's easily the most beautiful of all the compared cars. Finding a good one would be chore, and to be honest, you can't get away from the fact that it's dated, and the equivalent era XK was a better car.
