i have an lt35 van with2.8 litre engine.just bought it but only found fault after couple of days.it runs ok for a time then cuts out but re starts immediately when you switch ignition key off then back on .once it goes wrong it carries on like that what seems especially to trigger it off is when you change down a gear so slow the engine down. anyone had this specific problem?? .

I had an Escort that did that, major service fixed it funnily enough.

Had a fiesta that did this, think it was the fuel pump? Long time ago though so can't be sure.
