I sold my car on Sunday, now I don't have anything as I'm looking for a classic Mini.
But not having anything is so depressing frown
Feel a bit sick and angry for some reason. It's doing my nut in. It's only been 2 days....

Buy one of these and then ask a friend to drive you around for a bit....

School Boy Error. Always ensure you have more than one car in your collection.

To be fair, it's not really a collection with 0 cars. Or 1. You really need 3+ for a collection.

Anyway, calm down, I'm sure you'll get that mini in no time. If you have some residual insurance to put on something then go forth and purchase a shed. Sub £200 is doable still you know...

I was without a car for 4 weeks once.

No fuel, tax or insurance to pay for, it was great.

I spent most of the time in the pub.

I was tempted by a part time shed. It's horrible not having one though.

I've only ever been without a car for 3 days since passing my test, and I was drunk for 2 of those. You should always have a spare just in case.

Good luck finding a usable mini.

I've not had my car since October 16th frown

I play GT5 just to have the feel of a wheel in my hands again <sniff>.

But as said, I've saved a lot of money.

Shes a 1987 Advantage in white. £1300 ONO

Engine:
998 stage one
Electronic ignition
sportex side exit exhaust (very nice sound, not overly loud)
Very good on fuel, I regularly achieve 40+ mpg.

Interior:
Standard seats in very good condition, they have been covered for the past 15 years!
Vibe 6x9 speakers in the heal board, very good sound without being chavvy!
walnut dash, this could do with a little TLC nothing major though.

Exterior:
Very good condition. There are a few blisters here and there. But it is a 23 year old car, so its to be expected. This is reflected in the price.

New angel eyes fitted by me because the original headlamps were not very good, however I do still have them if you want them.
all the original trim is still there, plus a few spares that are included.

Car failed its MOT but I am rectifying the problems and putting it in for a re-sit so the car will come with a full years MOT.
tax runs out at the end of the month, and if I still have it I will tax it. if the full asking price is given I will tax the car before the end of the month.

MOT failure was the ball joints and a small amount of corrosion on the front valance, but like said, they will be sorted.

I didn't have a car for a 4 weeks living in a rural location as well! Had to rely on others to get about - ended up buying the first banger i saw just to have wheels, that was a bad move!

No problem. Look forward to the back pain and the deafness that comes with Mini ownership and that lovely constant replacement of bits in BL's "Trigger's Broom" philosophy of slowly rebuilding the car properly. wink

There was a real old classic supercharged Mini on on ebay recently but it was already over £7k last time I looked.
