Insurance Problem

My mum and I are having problems getting me insured as a named driver on her car because I'm a 17 year old learner. Also because they think the car is unsuitable, its a 1.1 206!! She's now considering switching companies, any recommendations for insurance companies and/or advice would be much appreciated

Tesco and Direct line were quite good for me when I was a 17 year old learner... + When I passed and was 18 I also had a 1 years Named drivers no claims for my own policy (had to stick with Direct line though).

Tesco don't cover under 18's now.
