Importing an old mpv...

Is it worth it ?

I have 2k to spend on a 8 seater mpv eg toyota/mazda etc and was wondering of the import costs involved.

I know there is alot on the roads in the uk but often see fresh imports for sale with low miles for a bit above my budget in garages.

So seeing that a garage needs to make a profit by uping their prices would i get a better vehicle by trying to import something myself ?

Any input would be gladly recieved.
