quite tempted with one of these to run around in, certainly have decent levels of power. like the understated looks. anyone want to tell me more about them? i guess being a turbo they are quite tunable as well.

Luke.

There's a few threads on this, have a search. Though think the consensus was fast but not hugely fun.

Depends on age, very new ones are very tunable as they have sorted forged internals so can see very mods cheap. Older shape can be mapped to 280-300 easily, but you might start killing bits off.

Quick car, great interior and nice subtle exterior.

i bought one back in November at the time i was looking at golf edition 30, megane 225, focus rs, focus ST etc...but the Mazda just sempt better in just about every department great spec ( bose sound system, half leather, average 30mpg with nearly 40mpg on a run, LSD, 300bhp with a map, xenon lights, auto wipers and lights, Eibach suspension ( on the aero etc etc )

You dont see them everywhere and there quite a sleeper not many people know how well they actually go in gear times is where they really impress same 60-100mph time as the 330s scoob isn't to shabby, go and drive one i was sold after i did.

only problem wit the newer ones is getting people to actually tune them its abit dull out there atm, as for the mk1 one theres a few i know of that are 350-400bhp with no issues not to sure i would be pushing the standard internals past 400 really but then again im not sure you would want more then that in a FWD car lol

yes quite like the sleeper element about them, seem pretty well priced for what you get.
