Am thinking of buying a 10 yr old Freelander with a rebuilt engine and an LPG conversion as a run around. What are peoples experiences of LPG? re COST SAVINGS ETC

Cost of LPG has risen a lot from last year. Same as petrol and diesel.
Last April I was paying 67.9 per litre, recently I paid 85.9 per litre.
No such thing as a free lunch!

ETA: No detectable difference in power when using LPG vs Shell VPower.

Many threads on here about this with lots of info - a search will bring them up. I did a 330i BMW which was great and I documented on a couple of past threads.

The Freelander with rebuilt engine might be the weak link though - people who have had LPG problems were using cheap kits or fitting them to cars that already had problems...
