Car theft

This is a hypothetical situation I found myself thinking about today.

I live at home with my parents, I sleep here 5 nights a week and as it is my "home" my insurance company are obviously told that I live there,

For the other 2 I stay at my girlfriends who lives approximately 15 miles away in an area that's not rough really but it has a higher crime rate than where I live which is in one of the lowest bands you can get for crime.

If my car was stolen whilst I was staying at my girlfriends, would my insurance be void or a pain in the arse about it or would it not matter as for the majority of the time I live at home and not at her house?

if you regularly keep your car at a different address overnight you really must tell the insurance company
