Russias one of the fastest street cars (a Ford GT tuned to 1000HP) burned and crashed,the driver tragically killed in the accident.

Well, the fact that his car had 1000hp is probably less relevant than what the second video is saying which is that his car was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle as he attempted a u-turn over a double solid line.

Sadly with the cowboy attitude to driving so widespread in Russia nobody is safe on the roads, no matter how much horsepower their car has. The only vehicles I'd consider driving in Russia would be of BTR, BMP and T-xx variety.

In the first video, the car appears to peak at 228mph. Impressive.
