Hi all, I have 'lurked' here on and off for quite some time now and finally decided to sign up and try and participate.

I took the decision to part with my pride and joy for six years back in November last year. An absolutely brilliant 928 S4, rest assured that doesn't necessarily make me a bad person. It had a 196K on the clock when I sold it and it proved to be a brilliant (and ultra reliable) ride down to Monte Carlo and round the Nurburgring. I had to eventually scratch the 911 itch I had been suffering from and opted for a 2001 996 with factory fitted Aerokit and M030 suspension after spending all my time looking at 993 variants. I have to say the 996 makes my face ache with the permanent smile it induces.

This looks to be a pretty friendly site and I look forward to adding the odd (very odd?)contribution.

Beetle owner yes but it is better than some of the other cockroaches I have had in the past (the ones not listed in 'my garage').

I would love to bore everyone with a picture but I am currently searching for a 'how to' on that, jeez, I can't even add a simple smiley.
