Not by your logic, if thats true then your surely as the letter of the law stands, your fronting she is fronting if she is not the main driver.Who cares, just dont put stupid wheels on it and fit a massive stereo.
I did it for the first year of driving.
Don't see the problem with it. All drivers are insured to drive the car at any time, for as long or as often as they want. Regardless who is down as the main driver is irrelevant imo. Just as irrelevant to when they as what your annual milage is.

Right, well, we're talking about fronting when the mother is the main driver. The guy on the radio was putting his mother down as the main driver because he felt he wasn't the main driver; not sure when he was expecting to let his mum drive it, though.Don't blame people for taking a risk nowadays, as long as they are a bit careful, ie making sure the car in question is registered in the parents name and that parent doesn't have another car registered to them. No-one expects young driver insurance to be cheap but £3/4/5k is absurd.

According to the links above, fronting is doing exactly what he is doing - mainly doing the driving and putting someone else down as the main driver, thus breaking the law in terms of fraud and driving without insurance.
