I have bought a few low mileage 1 owners car before and they have all been straight - usually a pre-registered car or some wealthy retiree just got bored of driving to and from Waitrose/Bowls Club in it. But what about the ones with 2 owners and below average mileage - are they likely to have some dodgy history? Or are there genuine reasons why a car would get passed on so quickly?

I normally default for the 'it's too good to be true' maxim .. but are there any other opinions on this.

My car has reasonably low mileage and two owners - because all my big mileage is done in the work car. I don't think there's anything wrong with it!

None in particular. I've just perusing Autotrader and working out depreciation etc. if one was to buy a car with one previous owner and wanted to sell it on a year or so laters. I suppose I have answered my own question!
