TDI Tuning Box

Has anyone bought and used a TDI tuning box from TDI Tuning, claimed 30bhp increase, 80nm of torque and can plug an play for removal before servicing etc.

is this true or will the ECU not remember codes of it being installed?? any info will be great, any stories of dealers finding out??

Bit of a blunt instrument to be fair. I'd sooner have a proper remap.

Yeah of Course the best thing is a proper remap but my car is under warranty so removable system is best, even though they all say they are 'untraceable' ...

Because companies would never make up things about performance stats

Just save up an extra month and get the thing remapped and rolling roaded properly. Plenty of decent companies round here...

I had a Skoda fabia VRS from new and remapped it with Angeltuning. I had no problems at my local Skoda dealer servicing it at all. In fact the supplying dealer recommended Jabbasport for a remap and said a number of customers ran VRS with this remap with no problems.
I bought my car new with the intention of remapping it anyway, it makes such a difference on the 130 PDI engine you would be silly not to.
