Top Gear Ferrari Driver, who is this?

Watching Hammond expertly drift the F40 I got a bit suspicious, went back and got this freeze frame, no idea who it is but 100% not a hamster. Anybody got any ideas who the BBC is willing to trust drifting an F40?

They also blurred out the F40s number plate, but were quite happy to show the one on the 959.

Theres been a shed load of random blurs in this season, been noticing them a lot

i imagine its because the 959 had a 959 plate and after spending lots of dosh on a 959 plate i'd imagine the 959 owner would want everyone to know he had a 959 plate.

Its not like the 959 owner need worry about cloning as traffic plod will be watching top gear and they may notice a corsa with the same plate as a 959 where as your typical 959 owner need not really worry about someone sticking the same plate on a similar car and get parking tickets.

It wouldn't surprise me if the hand of Maranello was behind the F40 blurring. I imagine they get upset about this sort of thing.

Anyone notice that JC's watch in the "race" from West to East of the UK was blurred out too? Presumably so they could edit in bits of footage whenever they wanted, and not have to worry about the time not being in sequence...

No, It's a second hand 80's Ferrari, The factory wouldn't give a t0ss.
In fact Ferrari North Europe (press office in Slough) are actively putting their products up against the competition these days.
