I was listening to music on youtube as you do and came across the video for the new Dr. Dre song and they absolutely destroy a good looking Ferrari 360 in the music video....is there any need????

I am not talking the likes of top gear destroying a rusty marina but somebody destroying what was my childhood dream car for the sake of a music video, the majority of which will be cut for TV anyway, upsets me somewhat.

This cant be the only case of this though, are there any other examples of this......i don't know why i ask as it will only piss me off more frown

Won't mean much to most, but they smashed up a Saab 900 Cabrio Monte Carlo edition in Hot Fuzz (really nice last of the line model with everything thrown at them).

It made me sad frown

For a music vid, I doubt they would total a legitimate and straight Fezza.

It's Dr Dre....I doubt he'd bat an eyelid at destroying a 10 year old £45k car for a video which may well have cost 10x that.

Not guaranteeing it's a real one (sure someone eagle-eyed Ferrari afficionado will shortly point out that it isn't) but it certainly wouldn't surprise me if it was.

As of 2010 Dr Dre was thought to be worth about $160,000,000. He supposedly earnt $90million in 2007 alone frown

See a muscle car in any action film and you can all but guarantee it will be destroyed before the end.

Mint Plymouth Road Runner set alight in one of Beyonce's music videos...

A nice Camaro gets bashed up and a 1979 Trans Am gets destroyed in one of Madonnas videos.

This sort of thing should be illegal.

Business is business. I'm sure sales from this record will easily pay for a few wrecked Ferraris. That wouldn't be worth much more than the combine used for the TopGear 'snowbine' last week, yet nobody batted an eyelid at them filling it up with grit and crashing it into stuff.

The Miura was a write off with a twisted chassis. The 2 E-Types they destroyed however were not.
Well at least the red one still lives on..
