Can't find much about it but most opinions seem to think it's not all that...

Polish & wax are different. Polish takes away a fine layer of paint, wax protects the paint.
Search the detailing section of this forum for all the info you could ever dream of.
1) Wash car using two bucket method
2) Polish using Autoglym super resin polish.
3) Apply two coats of Autoglym extra gloss protection.
4) Wash car using two bucket method for the next 2-3 months before needing to be reapply SRP and EGP
Also use the same on alloy wheels. Very easy to remove brake dust etc
The above takes alot of effort (3-4hrs)but makes the next 2-3 months easier.
