Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition Makes Show Debut
In-the-carbon-fibre unveil for hardcore limited-edition LFA
This is the Lexus LFA Nurburgring edition, which finally makes its official debut a whole year after it was first announced.
Just 50 examples of the hardcore super-Lexus will be made to celebrate the company's entry in the Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race - taking up 50 build slots of the 'normal' LFA production line.
The performance pack is expected to cost an extra £55k on top of the £343,000 'basic' price.
For that you get a whole extra 10bhp (that's 562bhp in total), quicker gearshift times (0.15secs) and, despite extra drag created by a proliferation of wings and spoilers, the car's 3.7secs 0-62mph time and 202mph top speed remains unchanged.
Other changes include new alloys wheel designs, grippier tyres, and uprated suspension.
There are four colours available - Black, Whitest White, Orange and a Matt Black that will cost £15k.
Customers will also be treated to private parking at the 'Ring, a high-speed ride-along on the Nordschleife, a branded Nurburgring jacket and a one-year track pass. Not the sort of ancillary extras you get when you buy a brand-new Kia, then...
Not so keen on that ludicrous price tag though! It's a m/billionaire's plaything - not an 'only-Supercar' purchase.
I know what I would, and it's not on the Toyota.

Therefore, the hookers can finish thelmselves off

ASAIK the entire production run of LFAs has been sold. There are plenty of people in the world wealthy enough to buy a whole fleet of LFAs let alone 1.
Besides which, even at £340k it's a bargain vs the £1.5m odd it costs to make.
Personally, I think it's an epic car.
