Morgan 3 Wheeler Makes Show Debut

The Morgan 3 wheeler, the reborn icon of the Malvern-based sports car company, has been given its motor show debut at Geneva.

We've already revealed much of the new car's specification in our previous story on the Morgan 3 Wheeler, so we won't go into great detail here, other than to say that a three-wheeled car powered by a 1910cc 115hp V-twin coupled to a Mazda 5-speed gearbox makes a unique motor show statement.

That's particularly true when it's hard to know whether the vehicle in question looks like a cross-between motorbike, classic single-seat racer and WWII fighter plane.

All we know is that the new 3 Wheeler seems to be a hit at the show, although an unusually large number of the people poring over it did seem to be sporting rakish moustaches and flying jackets...

It is such a delight to see a British manufacturer bringing out a car that is so relevant today. Good fun and lightweight. I am interested.

What's it supposed to cost? About £30k?
So it is roughly "new weekend car" costs.
Simple characterful torquey engine.
Uses a gearbox widely known as being excellent.
Weighs both halves of fk all.
Looks like a tin bath crossed with a WW2 fighter plane.

I'm neither and would but a stunning lady in the passenger seat and that gearshifter has possibilities....

I would like guns and be able to say "Takka takka takka though. Maybe a gunsight on the dash would be nice.

Those roll-over hoops appear to be below the head height of everyone pictured in it...

still, certainly one of the most interesting "production" cars on the market, to my mind.

Green one appears to be RHD - fair enough.
