Car sharing....

Am looking at sharing a car with a mate - does anyone have experience of this particularly when it comes to insurance companies...

My present insurer wont cover me if the policy is in my name and the car is kept in the other owners garage...

Logic? None.

Any tips welcome.

Can't offer any useful advice RE the insureance but it does sound like a good recipe for falling out with your mate
