350z to what ???? suggestions please
Discussion
While I really love the zed probs with my knee means I'm struggling a bit with the heavy clutch when in town or stuck in traffic :-( so thinking about looking for something else. So far thinking XKR (obviously wont have to worry about gear changes) but maybe a bit to refined for me ???
So basically looking for something preferably 6 + cylinders, at least similar performance and either auto or not too heavy a clutch (The clutch on my old Boxster was no prob)
Budget around £10k
Not worried about age or running costs (up to a point lol)

XKR still topping my list but never thought about going USA style :-)
M3 not really keen
Mustang is a sn95 Mach1 model. It has a proper "Shaker Hood". The air intake is fixed to the engine and a dirty great hole in the bonnet :heh:M3 not really keen
They run an alloy DOHC 4.6 V8 making 305hp and available with a 4 speed AOD. Finding an auto in the UK might be difficult though.
The regular Mustang GT is available in this price range too though, missing the shaker scoop but still looks good. Same auto box, but a 260hp cast iron block 4.6 SOHC V8.
The Camaro is an SS model, which is essentially a z28 with a bonnet scoop, mild body kit, different rear spoiler and different wheels, shocks and anti-roll bars. Most are fully loaded too. They make the same HP as a Camaro z28 (325-345hp min) from their alloy 5.7 OHV V8.
Just to add, Mr 300BHP, I am no American car hater. I think the new Camero is a lovely thing, and as said the interior is OK and very passable. I am due to change the 335i next year, this is the time when the Camero ZL1 will be released and I think I am going to find it hard to resist a 550bhp supercharged Camero for $50,000 - I may well end up with one.
The old cars, like the ones you posted, I maintain are cack of the highest order.
