Morning

Has anyone bought a plate from new reg?

I received the plates this morning but no paper work. Can I put them on or do I have to wait for confirmation from the dvla?

Thanks

Were they doing the transfer for you or just supposed to be supplying the certificate?

They are doing it all for me.

I assume I can't though because of the tax disc?

You should get a new tax disc and authorisation letter for the new registration. Until that point the car needs to keep it's current reg.

I assume they've sent the plates as the transfer is in progress and it allows them to charge you for their overpriced tacky plates.

I shall hold off then.
