Hi all, although I've bought many items on Ebay, I've
never sold anything there.

Do any Ebayers have any particular rules to guard against potential fraudsters?

For example, mainland U.K only and minimum amount of previous transactions?

Thanks

Tim

Yes.

In the time you'd spent posting this question, you could have looked on the EBay FAQ pages which would have told you everything you needed to know.

Some that I use:

Payment before sending (including cheques cleared)
If paying by Paypal Items sent only to "Confirmed" Paypal addresses
Items sent recorded delivery and hence the postage costs
No zero rated ebayers
No ebayers with a less than 98% feedback score

May seem obvious but some people don't agree. laugh

Ridds: Thanks for the info!

Helldiver: Yes, I could have done that, but I was asking for the personal opinion of Pistonheads readers, which isn't the same thing, is it!

While I fully understand the reasons you would put such rules in place, as someone who has just joined E-bay recently (just catching up with the 21st Century!) how do I comply with these rules?
