After viewing the refelction in this picture, I figured that a Porsche Hot hatch could look pretty cool:

I therefore knocked one up on Photoshop, my thinking is 350bhp and 4x4 bounce

I think it could be a good seller at around £40k!

Thoughts and opinions welcomed biggrin

The engine wouldn't fit under the bonnet! hehe

Good photoshopping though!

I reckon that you've done a pretty good job there!

Not sure it would be to my taste though, but I do prefer older Pork.

Any chance you could do one in silver and black?

Surely the point of a hot hatch is that it's a high performance version of a basic hatchback? I'm not sure that would be good for the brand!

And yes, there's no way the engine's going to fit.

Surely a performance hatch back that blows all its rivals in to the weeds is better for the brand than the cayenne? My thinking behind it was a cheap way into a practical & fast four seater porsche. I'm thinking young professionals with familys, pitching it head to head with the forthcoming BMW 1M & Audi RS3.

I like the concept, perhaps you should contact Porsche - You never know, they may take you onboard in developing a car to sit in another market. Quite unlikely, but if you don't try, you wont know!

If it was 'Porsche spec', compact and reasonably priced £30-40,000 I think it could be potentially something great.

Probably never going to happen, but nice to think about. smile

I would have thought that the porsche boxer 6 engine could be made to fit without too much trouble?

Indeed it is, good spot! I originally wanted to go with a Scirroco shape, but the windows seemed tiny in comparrison when I had grafted the GT3 front end on

The comments are pleasing, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this is a good idea for Porsche.

If there were to be a Porsche hot hatch, we'd just get another bloody hot Golf with Porsche lights tacked onto it.

Haha not sure if I should be happy or not for being sad enough to recognise it!

It is a great photoshop though! Love the concept!

ETA: Just noticed the numberplate on the red one is the wrong way round hehe

Where did you get the rear wheels from? The rear tires are insanely wide!

Rear quarter looks a bit Alfa Mito. Are we likely to see a Porsche hot hatch though given the tie up with VW? Would be a good competitor for the new Audi RS3, BMW M 1 Coupe (or whatever its called).

looks like a sporty mini cooper, i don't like it and i cant see it appealing to a large market. Thumbs up for the photo shop skills.
