Morning all,
this has been bugging me but was brought up again this morning in the sls news thread

How are Mansory they still going?
what with all the current doom and gloom in the car industry, how can mansory (and companies like that) still be going?
they surely cannot be selling enough to be making a profit...can they?

cheers
John

The people who were rich enough (lacking in taste enough) to buy that kind of thing, are still rich enough to buy that kind of thing.

If you look at their customer base, I suspect you'll find a group of people who haven't been hit too hard by the recession, or even have profited from it.

Huge markups and lots of debt seems to be the core principal of 'high end' stuff like Gemballa, Mansory etc.

If you sell five grands worth of wheels, stickers, shiny bits to someone for 50 grand then it a pretty good business model and doesnt require that much investment.
